Mr. Joy John was born on the 25th of August 1948 as the eldest son of late Sri.T.X. John & Aleykutty John. He married Gracy, the daughter of Sri. P.K. Kurien & Smti.Thresiama Kurien Paramundayil family, Melukavumattom. Mr. Joy John is an Innovator, Hotelier & Planter. He also owns various other diversified businesses. He invented a Low Cost Non-Electric Milking Machine for benefitting the local small scale dairy farmers. Mr. Joy John is one among the premier founders & also the National Treasurer of both INFAM (Indian Farmer’s Movement) & ISPS (Indian Spices Producers Society). Both the organizations share similar concerns, the betterment & upliftment of the farmers in India. He is also member of various social welfare institutions such as the Rotary Club of Vazhakulam, & President, Haritha INFAM Farmers Club. He has visited various foreign countries viz. Israel, Jordan, Egypt, U.A.E, Qatar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada & U.S.A. and has covered almost all the Indian states except Kashmir and North Eastern ones. He has attended various International & National seminars on subjects related to Agriculture & Industries in India.
Shrimati Gracy Joy is the homemaker. The couple is blessed with a daughter Jackie & a son Johney walker. Jackie is a B.Sc. Visual Communication Graduate from the Madras Christian College & attained M.B.A from the Viswajyothi College, Vazhakulam. Currently she is employed at the Asianet Communications Network as Human Resources personnel. Johney Walker is an I.B.M graduate from The Seneca College, Toronto, Canada. Currently he is accompanying his father in business ventures & continuing higher studies. He is actively involved with INFAM & organic agriculture & other social institutions. He is also the Inter District High Jump Gold Medalist in the Year 2009 & Individual School Sports Champion of the Year 2007& 2008.
